A 23-year-old man was apprehended in Mlikini Village, Embu County after he was found co-habiting with underage girls who had allegedly escaped from their homes
The man, who sells miraa in the village market, had been housing two girls since November 12, 2015.
Area Chief Kimeu Musyimi ,said that efforts to find the girls had proven futile until it was discovered that they had been living with the man.
The suspect was arrested and locked up at Karaba Police Station, amid investigations to ascertain whether the minors were defiled.
This comes a month after, a 21-year-old man in Maara District was arrested for defilement after being found living with a form three student.
The 17-year-old who had been missing for three weeks claimed that she was expecting the man's child and was in love with him.
