Narok residents who lost their homes and property after last week's flash foods will be compensated.
Ng’iro South Development Authority has pledged to raise funds towards the compensation. They have also promised to repair the area's drainage system.
Ng’iro South Development Authority chairman George Wambugu said that plans have been set up, awaiting the approval from stakeholders.
According to The Star Newspaper, he was speaking at the funeral service for 11 flood victims at Maasai Mara University.
More than 10 people were killed and eight others injured while property worth millions was destroyed.
