An angry contractor in Garissa County has taken efforts to recover money owed to him by the County Government a notch higher, when he decided to publicly embarrass his debtor.
Abdullahi Ali Arte put up huge posters on his vehicle both at the front and back, publicly displaying his anger while accusing the County administration of withholding his money since 2014.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, businessman Ali stated that in 2014, the County Government contracted him to construct various buildings and provide suppplies at a dam, but he was yet to be paid even after completing the job.
Mr Ali further claimed that the County's Treasury stated that it could not settle his debt of Sh6 Million because the Minister who hired him had been sacked.
The afflicted entrepreneur said that he was unable to settle school fees for his children, as he was depending on the contract for finances.
Ali added that he had moved to a Police Station in Garissa to seek assistance.
Attempts by Kenyans.co.ke to get a response from the County Government regarding the allegations were futile.
