Photos of some of the doctors' union officials in jail have emerged on social media, a day after the Labour Court sentenced them to one month in prison.
One of the photos captures KMPDU Secretary-General Ouma Oluga who was visited by friends at Kamiti Prison where he is locked up.
Olunga, who was donned in the striped prison attire, is seen to be quite jovial.

The officials were reportedly taken to different prisons across the country despite Judge Hellen Wasilwa's ruling which indicated that the men and women would be taken to Industrial Area and Langata prisons respectively.
Meanwhile, Health Cabinet Secretary (CS) Cleopha Mailu has promised that the government will appeal to have the officials released from jail.
Appearing before the Senate Health Committee on Tuesday, Mailu stated that the government would “do all within its powers to get the seven freed”.
