Raila Odinga Warns Against Infighting in NASA

National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer Raila Odinga has revealed one mistake that might cost him the presidency in the August 8 General Election.

Odinga, on Wednesday, raised an alarm warning that cases of infighting within the Opposition would complicate his chances of beating President Uhuru Kenyatta in the upcoming polls.

Speaking during a mega rally in Kisii County, the Opposition leader cautioned that differences within the Alliance would affect their objective of dethroning the Jubilee government.

Accompanied by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, he insisted that though the Opposition has massive support around the country, any bad blood between the leaders or supporters would affect the outcome of the polls.

“We might have our differences but they should not distract us from the mission of defeating our common enemy which is Jubilee. We have sufficient numbers. What we must exercise is discipline, commitment and watchfulness to ensure the victory is ours,” he stated.

Odinga further reiterated to a jubilant crowd that NASA would amass 10 million voters claiming that the Opposition already had 4 million more than Jubilee.

He called on his supporters to turn out in large numbers and vote during the polls to ensure NASA emerges the victor.

“All our supporters must turn out in large numbers and vote in order to ensure that we register an early win. We need each and every voter to report to the polling station early and cast his or her ballot,” affirmed Odinga.

The NASA leaders were touring Kisii to stamp their authority in the region that has slowly been drifting in favour of the Jubilee Party.
