Raila Reveals NASA's Foolproof Plan to Ensure No Vote Rigging in August Elections

National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Raila Odinga on Tuesday revealed that the Opposition has one of the best strategies of preventing vote rigging in the upcoming General Election.

Speaking in Tharaka Nithi while on a vote-hunting mission, Mr Odinga noted that NASA would have a committee at every polling station.

According to the plan, the committee will be obligated to detect any malpractices at the station then report directly to the NASA headquarters.

"We must adopt a polling station policy whereby each polling station must have a committee to detect and deter any incidents of vote stealing. They will report directly to our headquarters," he said.

The former Prime Minister vowed that with NASA's well-laid down plan the Opposition will not complain of rigging after the August 8 poll.

"You must guard our votes because this time we don’t want to complain about stolen votes," the ODM chief said.

Mr Odinga was joined by Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula and Amani National Coalition (ANC) Musalia Mudavadi in a drive to popularise NASA in the region.

While in the region, welcomed to NASA the elder brother of Jubilee Senate Majority Leader and Tharaka-Nithi Senator, Prof Kithure Kindiki, Prof Isaiah Kindiki.

The former Prime Minister announced that the elder Kindiki will be NASA’s campaign coordinator in the county.
