Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore on Thursday caught many Kenyans by surprise when he set aside his official suit and tie regalia and headed to the streets to serve as a tout.
Mr Collymore was at Kencom Bus Station at the Central Business District (CBD) where he took up the work of the conductor to fill up the bus and paid the fare for every customer.
The passengers were excited to see the Safaricom boss and happily took photos with him for the amazing gesture.
As part of the Christmas celebration, Safaricom employees were deployed to various bus stops where lucky commuters had their fares paid in full.
The initiative dubbed under the hashtag #HomeIsWhereTheHeartIs, has been focused on touching the lives of Kenyans in different aspects.
