National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi's bodyguard was on Saturday morning shot dead by a colleague in Nairobi.
According to reports, the two officers were involved in a scuffle at Muturi's home in Thigiri Ridge when the suspected officer opened fire and shot the deceased severally.
Gigiri OCPD Vitalis Otieno stated that the suspect had been arrested and will be interrogated for more details on the motive of the shooting.
The Speaker and his family were not at the home during the morning shooting.
At the time of this reporting, Muturi's Personal Assistant (PA) told Kenyans.co.ke that the Speaker was in a meeting.
