Drama ensued in Embu county when a man suspected to have links to a terror group swallowed sim cards in a bid to evade arrest.
The 28 year old suspect, Daniel Mwangi was arrested at Embu airstrip by police officers on the grounds.
The reason as to why he chose to swallow several sim cards which he had with him remains unclear, although Mwangi's behavior including giving inconsistent answers concerning where he was from, raised eyebrows.
According to Citizen News, Embu Deputy OCPD Terry Micheni confirmed the incident and the arrest of the man.
The suspect arrested at Embu airstrip is set to be handed over to the Anti Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU) for further investigations into the Al Shabaab link claims.
