Netizens continued to air their views over the ongoing doctor's strike that has paralysed operations in public hospitals for 89th days now.

A section of the public castigated the government for having failed to effectively resolve the industrial action and letting it prolong for so long.

Others expressed disappointment that the public resources were being misappropriated especially in counties yet the governors claim there is no money to pay the medical practitioners.

This hashtag trended after President Uhuru Kenyatta presided over the passing out of 3,980 recruits from the Kenya Police College in Kiganjo.

Senator Lonyangapuo

The subject was trending after West Pokot Senator John Lonyangapuo called on Deputy President William Ruto to engage them in resolving the insecurity facing the region.

Addressing a press conference, Lonyangapuo and other leaders urged Ruto to involve Marakwet and Pokot representatives in coming up with strategies to end recent attacks in Kerio Valley.

Lonyangapuo claimed that the ongoing disarmament exercise in the area was targeted towards a specific community.
