Former Uriri Member of Parliament Cyprian Omollo died on Friday at 5 am.
According to the family, the CORD affiliated ex-legislator died at Nairobi Hospital where he was admitted following a short illness.
His cousin Josie Ayieko divulged that Omollo was receiving treatment at the facility for the past two weeks
Mr Omollo served as the MP in the 10th parliament but lost in the 2013 race to incumbent John Kobado.
At the time of his death. the ex-lawmaker was serving as a board member of the Sony Sugar Company.
