The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioners met with leaders of the National Super Alliance (NASA) at CORD leader Raila Odinga's office in Capitol Hill, Nairobi.

During the meeting, NASA presented a memorandum with a couple of concerns regarding the ongoing voter registration.

The IEBC team led by Chairman Wafula Chebukati noted that he had received the complaints and promised to address the issues highlighted by the Opposition.

2. Kitui

Kitui County leaders on Wednesday held a press conference following Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's endorsement of Governor Julius Malombe ahead of the August 8 General Election.

Led by National Assembly Minority Leader Francis Nyenze, the MPs on their part announced that they would endorse area Senator David Musila for the Kitui Governor's seat.

3. James Oswago & Trevy Oyombra

Former IEBC CEO James Oswago began trending after he was arrested by detectives of the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) over the infamous multimillion Chickengate scandal.

Oswago was apprehended alongside the alleged mastermind of the scam Trevy Oyombra and two other suspects.

4. Somali Decides

Somalia was on the top Kenyan trends since its set to hold its much-awaited Presidential Election today.

The Somalia presidential election was initially set for August last year but had postponed four times due to logistics, insecurity challenges and disputes.

The President will be elected by 275 MPs and 54 Senators.

5. Ruto in Makueni

Deputy President William Ruto was in Makueni County where he took the campaign to mobilise residents to register as voters in the ongoing mass registration exercise.
