Uhuru's Tweet Criticizing Kidero Sparks Outrage

A tweet sent by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday has gained the highest engagement in comparison to other tweets he made the same day.

In the tweet, which angered Kenyans on Twitter, President Kenyatta was exposing the failures of the Nairobi County Government but the public visibly turned against him following the numerous comments that flowed in.

All of you understand how much you have been failed by the current county Government.

A section of the public opined that President Kenyatta's sentiments were painfully laughable highlighting that his own Government had failed Kenyans tremendously.

Kenyatta's social media post initiated a hashtag dubbed UhuruVsKidero in which the Governor's supporters pointed an accusing finger at the President for trying to discredit Kidero's Government among Nairobians.

The President should stop justifying the failures of Jubilee govt by blaming @KideroEvans who has done so much for Nairobians#UhuruVsKidero

— Babu Owino (@Babu_Owino) February 10, 2017

#UhuruVsKidero The two cannot be compared. While Kidero spends entire time addressing the needs of the people,Uhuru is always neglecting them

The President's tweet comes a day after he was heavily criticised for doing a dab dance at State House with the award-winning FBI dancers.
