A UN diplomat is recuperating in Nairobi hospital after he attacked and robbed of Ksh 20,000 and a gold chain of unknown value in Nairobi.
The diplomat was shot at by armed robbers at Lyco Regency along Uhuru Highway as he was leaving for the airport on Tuesday night.
The Star reports that incident was confirmed by officers at the Central Police station and that police have already started investigations into the incident.
