The man accused of lodging a knife in his wife's cheek, was Friday arraigned in a Wajir court where he theatrically made several attempts to stop the hearing of his case.
It is reported that Mohamed Deeq ,who allegedly stabbed Ms Fatuma Ibrahim, smeared himself with human waste after receiving information that he was going to court.
Mohamed filled the court room with the foul smell making it impossible for the magistrate and those present to proceed with the hearing.
Owing to the suspect's unbecoming behaviour, the case was adjourned till April 22, but Mr Mohamed reportedly told the court that he would return smelling the same.
In January, Mohamed supposedly stabbed his wife on the cheek in a domestic dispute at their home in Khorof Harar, Wajir County.
Doctors at Wajir General Hospital referred Ms Ibrahim to the Kenyatta National Hospital, where the knife stuck in her cheek was succesfully dislodged.

The incident sparked protests from many, especially women who demanded for the arrest of the husband.
However, Mohamed has maintained his innocence since being apprehended.
