Cabinet Secretary for Information Communications and Technology (ICT) Joe Mucheru on Tuesday made public his unique style of dressing.
Speaking during a television interview, Mucheru revealed that he owned only five suits which he acquired after being appointed to cabinet.
According to the CS, he had stopped dressing in official wear after leaving his previous executive jobs and only started doing so last year when he joined the Ministry.
In the interview, Mucheru also revealed that he normally wears 'happy' socks, a unique brand which has been trending among the youth.
CS Mucheru further sought to clarify his age stating that he was very young, only 48 years old.
“I am only 48 years old although I may not look it. Can you imagine I only have five suits. These are some of the investments I made after getting into government,” he revealed.
Before joining government, Mr Mucheru was Google's Regional Lead for Sub Saharan Africa and Country Manager for Kenya and also Wananchi Online CEO, where he was used to a casual dress code.
