VIDEO: Supreme Court Upholds Ruling To Increase Teachers' Salaries

The Supreme Court has declined to suspend orders by the Court of Appeal to have teachers' salaries increased by 50-60 per cent.

The Teachers Service Commission had filed a petition at the Supreme Court seeking to stop the previous court decision that awarded teachers a salary increment.

The Industrial Court ruling in June, awarding teachers a salary increment, has been in and out of court after TSC said it did not have money to pay the teachers.
