The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has broken down the steps that both county and national government organisations should take to register on its portal.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, June 10, NTSA outlined a step-by-step guide for the organisations to adhere to in order to access the NTSA Service Portal.
Firstly, you need to navigate to the eCitizen platform to access NTSA services and then log in using eCitizen credentials to access the personal account of the authorised person.
The next step, which will involve adding the entity, is located on the "Add Organisation" button, after which you should choose the type of organisation.
Thirdly, you should enter the organisation's KRA PIN for unregistered entities or enter the Certificate of Registration for registered entities.
After that, you should search to retrieve and validate the organisation's details.
The next step is choosing the authorised person from the list of options displayed, and afterwards uploading the authorisation letter from the organisation.
All the required documents, including the authorisation letter from the entity, a copy of the ID of the authorised person and the organisation's KRA PIN, should be uploaded in PDF format.
Lastly, you should complete the process by clicking on the "Add business" button at the end of the form.
The process is free of charge, and once submitted, the timeline for the organisation to be added to the portal is just one working day.
If you come across any difficulties while going through the application process, NTSA has advised that the organisations contact the authority at desks dedicated to it at Huduma Centres or NTSA branches across the country.
"The Authority has set up a dedicated help desk at NTSA HQ, all NTSA regional offices and Huduma Centres," part of the notice by NTSA read.
