We Will Go For A Retreat To Select NASA Presidential Candidate, Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka revealed how the National Super Alliance (NASA) intends to settle on their Presidential candidate for the upcoming General Election 2017.

Speaking during an interview with Jeff Koinange on Citizen TV, Musyoka stated that NASA leaders would go for a retreat to select their ideal candidate.

He insisted that they were yet to agree on their flagbearer but all the co-principals were capable of challenging President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Kalonzo, who recently implied that he was too old to back another leader within NASA for the Presidency, revealed that he had no intentions of leaving the alliance and had no differences with his fellow co-principals.

NASA leaders have been pressured by some members of the ruling Jubilee party to announce their presidential candidate but seem to be in no hurry, something that was confirmed by Kalonzo.

The former Vice-president also defended NASA’s plan to have their own tallying centre saying it was the same thing that Jubilee party had done during the 2013 elections.

In an interesting twist, he also divulged that his party would gladly welcome troubled Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko and give him direct nomination if he joined them.
