A woman dropped a metallic device suspected to be a bomb on Eastleigh's 11th street, Second avenue.
According to Starehe CID boss Kiberenge Seroney, the woman was ordered by police to stop at around 1am on Tuesday, but defied the instruction leaving a metallic device wrapped in a paper bag.
Bomb experts are said to be examining the device while the suspect is reported to be at large.
