KTN Business anchor Joy Doreen Biira's vehicle was stolen on Friday night at the premises of the Standard Group Limited along Mombasa road.
Ms Biira, who had just checked into the newsroom to prepare for the 9pm bulletin, left her Silver Mercedes Benz E220 Registration KBY 831K, in the parking lot but later she did not find it.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Ms Biira stated that: "the key was picked from my desk and the car was driven out in the evening before I finished work. So when I finished work I could not find the key and then when I went down the car was not there."
The journalist divulged that the CCTV footage was still being reviewed to find out who took the keys from her desk and eventually drove off her vehicle.
Her colleague and investigative journalist Mohammed Ali circulated the alert on social media urging the public to report any leads.
"Missing Silver Mercedes Benz E220 Registration KBY 831K stolen from office car park on Mombasa Road at approx 7:39pm yesterday. Kindly contact Joy or nearest police station if seen," Mr Ali tweeted.
