One of Miguna Miguna's lawyers, Nelson Havi on Saturday responded to claims by the self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general that Jubilee was trying to bribe the advocates.
Speaking exclusively to Kenyans.co.ke, Havi who has been representing Dr Miguna in his deportation case dismissed claims that he had been bribed by the ruling party.
"I have not been approached by anyone from Jubilee and I categorically state that I have not received any bribe," he affirmed.

Earlier on Friday, Miguna took to his social media alleging that HomaBay Town MP Peter Kaluma was being used by Jubilee to bribe his advocates.
"I have been informed that a man calling himself Opondo Kaluma has been pretending be one of my advocates while dancing on imaginary graves he has constructed for me. I have never met Kaluma and he has never been my advocate.

"He has been attending court whenever my matters come up for mention or hearing in order to bribe my genuine advocates on behalf of @JubileePartyK tyrants. He has published malicious falsehoods about me in the social media. In @Julius_S_Malema's terms, he is a sellout!," Miguna wrote on Friday.
At the time of publication, Kaluma was not available for comment when Kenyans.co.ke tried to reach him.
Miguna who was deported to Canada in March maintains that his mission under NRM is still on course.
"The #NRMKe manifesto in 1 Tweet: Defeat and remove from power the unaccountable elites stealing from the people, exploiting the people and abusing power then create a merit-based society governed by the rule of law in pursuit of social justice.
"The greatest mistake is to have allowed murderers, looters & miscreants to preside over the highest offices in the land & to use those offices against the public interests for too long. Defeating @UKenyatta is a good start," he tweeted.
