Comedian Blessed Njugush Lands TV Job With Terryanne Chebet

Comedian Timothy Kimani Ndegwa popularly known as Njugush has landed new job as a TV host.

Speaking exclusively to Kenyans.co.ke, the comedian divulged that he will be the host for the new programme dabbed Biashara Mtaani that will start airing soon at Fanaka TV.

“We are currently shooting the show but the release date will be announced later,” he remarked.

Fanaka TV boss Terryanne Chebet announced having considered engaging Njugush on the show on Friday.

Fanaka is free to air channel that currently available on PANG network accessible on digital TV.

Blessed Njugush mentioned that the purpose of the show is to change the mindset of many young Kenyans on how they view business.

“Children are brought up desiring white collar jobs but they are not adequately taught about how profitable and revolutionary small enterprises are.

“I attended Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) where I studied Journalism,” he answered when asked about how he will handle the show.

The show is also set to reach out to people so they can exchange ideas about trade and entrepreneurship.

Njugush came to the limelight as a cast member on the TV comedy-drama ‘The Real Househelps of Kawangware’ which airs on KTN.

“I loved telling stories therefore I wanted to be a print journalist. I also wanted to continue with acting. Since acting did not offer financial security, I wanted to be a full-time journalist and a part-time actor,” the comedian recalled during a recent interview.
