Aden Duale Explains His Silence Amidst Jubilee Party Wrangles

National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has come out to explain why he has been out of the limelight.

The Garissa Township MP is known to be outspoken and an avid defender of Deputy William Ruto but has notably been out of the mainstream media for some time.

Despite Jubilee Party's raging wrangles, attacks on Ruto, and other issues affecting the country, Duale has maintained silence.

He explained that his quiet was influenced by the book called 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene.

"When you are silent, you receive more honour and respect," Duale stated, adding; "I am a senior leader in this country".

As the Majority Leader, Duale is set to return to TV screens and newspaper headlines in February when Parliament resumes.

Top of his to-do list when MPs convene will be to table a Supplementary Budget bill.

His work is already cut out for him as there is a looming stalemate where some legislators have schemed to shoot it down.

On Wednesday, he was part of a meeting convened by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy in Mombasa.

Senate Deputy Speaker Kithure Kindiki who was also part of the meeting stated: “We discussed our legislative agenda ahead of the resumption of the two Houses.”
