Highly rated Kenyan comedian, Eric Omondi, shared an extravagant wedding plan to his Italian fiance, Chantal Grazioli.
The entertainer stated that his wedding was not just his own but a representation of the country as a whole, which was why he had settled for a Ksh80 million budget.
"My wedding is not a personal affair, it's an international affair. Kenya is marrying Italy and it's [Italy] coming to Kenya with all the benefits we need," he disclosed.
Reports by The Star went on to state that Omondi was planning to surprise his girlfriend in June, before setting out for the customary dowry payment ceremony in Italy.
"I'll go for the ceremony accompanied by 15 people, among them Babu Owino, Governor Mike Sonko, and Hon Jaguar. I will have to hire a private jet," he divulged.
Omondi then reportedly asked for some assistance from his fans in terms of monetary support, going on to add that he would soon share a number for people to send their contributions.
"Our wedding hasn't happened yet because I'm waiting for you to help me fundraise. I need Ksh80 million; for the dowry payment, pre-wedding and main wedding. Soon, I will share M-Pesa number so people can contribute something," he said.
However, the rib-cracking comedian has been known to pull off some great acts while donning the most serious of faces and thus we can't verify if this was just a gimmick geared towards a bigger joke in the long run.
He was all over the news recently after a video in which he was seen to mock his own favourite English Premier League team, Manchester United, went viral.
Going by this record, don't be surprised if after a few days you get to learn that Eric was actually playing out a scene in a commercial or a short skit.
