Sen Wamatangi Cries Out on TV After Near-Death Experience

During an NTV political show on Tuesday, September 24, Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi narrated of a plot to assassinate him.

The senator disclosed that he was nearly hit by a truck at a petrol station in Eldoret, claiming that the move was meant to kill him.

Wamatangi, however, did not mention the exact date that the incident took place.

“It happened at a petrol station in Eldoret. A truck nearly knocked me down. Everybody who witnessed that incident screamed in shock. That was an assassination attempt,” he narrated.

He went ahead and implied that the assassination plot could have been prompted by his involvement in the Ruaraka land saga.

Other panelists who were part of the morning show are; Rarieda MP Otiende Omollo, former Gem MP, Jakoyo Midiwo and Kericho senator Aaron Cheruiyot.

On April 18, 2019, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wa claimed that he had received death threats from unknown people.
