Once in a while, politicians take a break from their daily business and let loose.
The same rang true for ODM leaders who gathered over the weekend in Mombasa county for a joyous celebration.
A video that surfaced online, showed the leaders ODM leader Raila Odinga, Governor Hassan Joho having a great time as they toasted severally at a wedding ceremony.
Also present were Siaya Senator James Orengo, Suna East MP Junet Mohammed and ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna.
The leaders are seen dancing in joy with Joho taking the lead on the dancefloor.
An unidentified man is seen with a large bottle of wine as he serves the party attendants.
It's not the first time, Kenyan politicians have put aside politics to engage in good times. In 2014, President Uhuru Kenyatta was privileged to reunite with his former school mates at St Marys School Nairobi during a reunion that was hosted by Citizen TV’s Jeff Koinange.
During the 75th anniversary of the school, President Uhuru expressed the relief the event brought him since it coincided with the collapse of his case at the ICC, where he had been accused of crimes against humanity.
