Angry Moses Kuria Shoots Down Journalist in Heated Exchange [VIDEO]

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is never short of controversies and this time around, he got involved in an extremely heated argument with a journalist over a story about Transport CS James Macharia.

The MP was addressing members of the press while weighing in on CS Macharia's performance.

The journalist, who was not captured on camera, questioned Kuria over the delayed Bus Rapid Transit project that was to ease traffic along Thika Superhighway.

"Thika Superhighway was demarcated and even marked with promises that in two weeks time the buses would be rolling and up to date, there is nothing," the scribe quizzed.

Instead of answering the question, the legislator accused The Standard of witch hunt.

He claimed that the publication had launched an attack against CS Macharia over his order to have all cargo transported via the SGR.

He also alleged that the move had been instigated by Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, whom he claimed was the owner of the media house and was using it to fight his wars.

"Gideon Moi is in the logistics business and his business has been hurt by the SGR, so let us meet at another time and compare the Gideon Moi facts and the facts you have," Kuria responded.

The two went on to argue over who was speaking the truth after the journalist challenged the MP's accusations.

"How does a newspaper take six pages to write about a man and not even about his ministry but about his photo?" Kuria angrily shouted at the reporter.

He further mocked the publication, by offering his skills if the media house had experienced a shortage of talent.

Kuria went on to shut down another journalist who tried to intervene by shouting 'order mheshimiwa' by reminding him he wasn't the National Assembly speaker, leaving the room in stitches.
