Lillian Muli Takes Over Jeff Koinange's Show, Here's Why [VIDEO]

TV queen Lillian Muli is back on social media after a break and she has landed back with an unexpected announcement that is set to shake things up on morning radio, albeit for a while.

Lillian on her Instagram post insinuated that she would be debuting into radio and becoming the new host of the Hot 96-morning show rebranded from Jeff and Hamo in the morning to The Hot 3 Some.

The TV beauty will be hosting the show with comedian Professor Hamo and a third individual set to be unveiled since his face was hidden in the promo poster.

However, according to a source from the station who spoke to Kenyans.co.ke on condition of anonymity,  Muli is only stepping in for Jeff for a short while as the JKLive host will be travelling to New York, USA.

Another source at the broadcaster corroborated the information and added that Koinange would be in New York for about a week to cover the launch of Kenya's campaign for its candidacy for a non-permanent seat at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on November 7 that will be presided over by the Foreign Affairs CS Monica Juma.

President Uhuru Kenyatta announced Kenya's official launch for the seat in his speech into the 18th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Saturday, October 26 in a speech read by CAS Ababu Namwamba.

On Thursday, October 24, the endeared anchor had taken to Instagram to inform her nearly 1 million followers that she was taking a break from social media.

Taking a break from social media. All is well and I will be back soon. The purpose of the break is to reboot. I love you all. Keep shining and see you all soon," Muli posted on Instagram.
