Juney Karisa, the daughter of the late Kisauni MP and cabinet minister Karisa Maitha, on Saturday, September 12, walked down the aisle and said 'I do' to her long term partner Patrick Mwavula.
The couple exchanged their vows at the Methodist church opposite Tononoka Hall in Mombasa County, and later enjoyed a reception at Bahari Gates Restaurant in Mtwapa.
The County boss, Ali Hassan Joho, also graced the occassion, which had a blue theme with a sprinkle of peach.

The bride donned an A-line wedding dress while the groom wore a floral blazer and half coat matched with a black pair of trousers.
Journalists who were in attendance included; Roncliffe Odit (BBC), Lynace Mwashighadi (BBC), Betty Mutekhele (KBC), Mama Madikodiko (Kaya FM), Lazarus Maitha (K24), Ndegwa Gathungu (Mediamax), Kevin Odit (Nation Media), Solomon Zully (Radio Salaam) and other journalists based in Mombasa.
The couple held a tradional wedding on Friday, September 11, in a ceremony attended by close friends and family members.
Mwavula is an information officer at the Mombasa governor's office while Juney is the Coastal region bureau chief at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).
The two lovebirds met back in 2017 while both were in the line of duty.
"It is easy to get along because we are in the same line of work," Juney stated in a previous interview.
