A Kenya Airways pilot is in the limelight after magnificently landing a plane and successfully navigating it against Storm Eunice in the United Kingdom.

Aviation enthusiast Jerry Dyer through his live streaming channel, Big Jet TV channel, captured the plane making a one time landing at the Heathrow Airport.

The clip attracted more than 200,000 live viewers with aviation experts lauding the KQ pilot's skills.

According to Jerry Dyer who captured the landing, some planes had to re-route while others had to go around the Heathrow airport before eventually making the landing. But for a KQ plane, it was a one-time landing.

Dyer told UK media houses that the feed was "the most exciting stuff you can get".

He added, "big kudos to the pilots and the crews working at the airports. Normally the conditions are calm and we have great shows we do for hours on end, people watching from all over the world."

"But right now, these conditions with 70mph gusting winds, it's pretty intense. And what's great is you get the see the skill of the pilot, and how they manage to handle it."

Kenya Airways on the other hand described the landing by its own pilot as 'Simply Majestic.'

Storm Eunice is the UK's recent cluster of winter wind storms which the UK's meteorological departmental relating it to a strong polar vortex creating low pressure in the Arctic. The country is battling with record-breaking 122mph winds caused by Storm Eunice.

UK's Met issued two red weather warnings in as many months for strong winds, with aviation officials either cancelling a number of flights or rerouting planes to other destinations

The storm has been reported as alarming to an extent of destroying trees, scattering roofs of buildings and threatening human lives.  London residents were advised to cancel all non-essential travel and stay indoors. The Telegraph further reported that London City Airport was shut and all cross-Channel ferry crossings were cancelled.

Weather forecasters explained that Storm Eunice's threat to life exceeds the predicted magnitude more than a similar storm which hit the European country in 1987 claiming 18 lives.
