Chiloba Revokes Licences of 19 Courier Service Providers [LIST]

Communications Authority of Kenya Director General, Ezra Chiloba, has announced the revocation of 19 licences of courier service providers.

On Friday, June 24, Chiloba announced through a gazette notice that the revocation of international and national postal and courier service providers was due to gross violations.

The CA boss stated that the postal and courier service providers are no longer authorised to provide the services applicable to the relevant licences.

"The revocation of these licences may affect the public and local authorities, companies, persons or bodies of persons within the country," stated Chiloba. 

Here is a list of the postal and courier service providers whose licences have been revoked;

1. Runex Courier Limited, Nairobi

2. Indo African International Limited, Nairobi

3. Delman Logistics Solutions, Nairobi

4. Daima Courier Services Limited, Nairobi

5. Digilearn Educational Resources Network Limited, Nairobi

6. Dynamex Group Limited, Nairobi

7. EasyMail Limited, Nairobi

8. Faith Transporters and Courier Services, Nairobi

9. Fastlane Courier Services Limited, Nairobi

10. Moyale Star Bus Services Limited, Nairobi

11. Nyeri Shuttle Limited, Karatina

12. Classic Express Company Limited, Nyasiongo

13. Modern Mail Limited, Mombasa

14. Transrock Limited, Nairobi

15 Forbes Security Limited, Nairobi

16. African Eagle Courier Limited, Nairobi

17. Bepak Logistics Limited, Nairobi

18. Buggy Delivery Services Limited, Eldoret

19. Chania Executive Cool Limited, Thika

CA stated that any resources held under any of these licences shall revert back to the Authority upon revocation.

The Authority notified the public that any legal or natural person, or group of individuals, who are desirous of making any representations and/or any objection to the said revocation of the licences, as aforementioned must do so by a letter addressed to Chiloba.

Complaints will be addressed to "The Director General, Communications Authority of Kenya, CA Centre, Waiyaki Way, P.O Box 14448 Nairobi 00800, indicating the licence category on the cover enclosing it."

Two weeks, ago Chiloba announced the revocation of licenses of 15 other postal and courier services citing failure to meet the stipulated conditions required for a valid license.
