The Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Commonwealth Secretariat has announced 11 senior job vacancies with salary range of up to Ksh3.5 million annually.
In an advertisement seen by Kenyans.co.ke, the openings are in different job positions including Assistant Programme Officer who will be placed in Asia, Assistant Programme Officer (Caribbean), Assistant Programme Officer (Pacific region), Assistant Programme Officer (Stakeholder Engagement), and Assistant Programme Officer (Monitoring and Evaluation).
Other posts are Assistant Programme Officer (Software Development), Assistant Research Officer (Climate Change), Assistant Research Officer (Office of the Secretary General), Assistant Health Officer, Assistant Research Officer (International Trade Policy) and Assistant Programme Officer and (Governance and Peace Directorate).
How to apply
The jobs are on a contractual basis of a two-year fixed term with the salary range of Ksh3,531,233.
Applicants are also required to have a Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area, and have at least one year of demonstrated work experience in the design and delivery of subject relevant development or democracy programmes.
Applicants must not be more than 27 years at a time of application, with the deadline for set for August 8, 2022.
The Commonwealth is a voluntary association of 56 member governments and provides guidance on policy making, technical assistance and advisory services to Commonwealth member countries.

KECOBO is also looking for an ICT officer who will take home a salary of Ksh120,052, Legal Counsel (Ksh120,052), Senior Accountant Assistant (Ksh84,707), Principal Resource Mobilization Officer (Ksh48,985), Assistant OCT Officer (Ksh48,985), Principal Sales and Marketing Officer, and Office Assistant (Ksh34,721).
