Uhuru's Big Four Agenda include affordable housing, manufacturing, Universal Health Care (UHC) and food security.

“I can report here with pride and satisfaction that Kenya’s involvement in the APRM has been beneficial to our governance and economic transformation; and that this productive relationship will continue even after my retirement as President following the upcoming general elections in August.”

“The recommendations resonate very well with our view of what we need to do to empower our citizens, and as such, I assure you that they will be seamlessly transited to the next administration for implementation through the Medium-Term Plan IV,” he stated.

On his part, Sierra Leone's President Julius Maada Bio - who led the review process, commended Uhuru for seeking the help of the global body founded in 2002 to help better the lives of Kenyans.

Bio expressed that Uhuru's legacy was well cemented adding that his administration had accomplished most of its targets.

“I commend my brother President Uhuru Kenyatta for opening up his country to the review team from the APRM continental secretariat that analysed the Big 4 Agenda and other salient issues in Kenya.

“Additionally, it is also noteworthy that Kenya has conducted the most targeted reviews at once,” Bio stated.

Also present at the meeting was President  Macky Sall (Senegal), Yoweri Museveni (Uganda) his Rwanda counterpart Paul Kagame.

The Big Four Agenda has been Uhuru's key focus in his second term with the Head of State currently on a countrywide tour to launch various legacy projects.
