Before her fame, every avid follower of the Kenyan music industry knew who Nikita Kering’ was.

Continentally, she was also getting noticed as Sound City judges described her song Tragedy as a timeless piece that will go on to transcend generations. 

With the kind of her talent, it was only a matter of time before she blew up.

Nikita, an  RnB and Soul artist is a young musician who has broken barriers despite her young age.

In 2023, she continued soaring higher after being one of the 2 artists selected to represent Kenya in Coke Studio Africa alongside Hip Hop artist Brian ‘Khaligraph Jones’ Omollo.

During the year, she also featured in the Netflix hit series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story augmenting her status as a multi-talented professional.

At the moment she is at the peak of her powers and was one of the few artists in the continent selected to perform at the BBC Afrobeats Concert in November 2022.

In her career, she has won several awards and beat veterans in the industry. In 2019, she bagged the Best Female Artist in East Africa and Best Artist (African R&B) awards at the All-Africa Music Awards AFRIMA Music Awards in Nigeria.

Nikita graduated from Brookhouse International School after completing the BTECH Diploma. She specialised in music performance, marketing, and production.
