Shanah Manjeru.

Manjeru is an award winning gospel musician.

At 13 years old, she is currently the youngest AFRIMA awards winner.

This had previously been held by fellow Kenyan songstress, Nikita Kering, who won the award at 17.

Manjeru was recognised in 2021 as the Best African Female Artiste in Inspirational Music for her song God will make a way.

At her young age, she has won ahead of other renowned international artistes in her category, Ada Ehi, a Nigerian gospel artist, Afrie from Uganda, Eden from Côte D’Ivoire, Kamo Mphela from and Kelly Khumalo from South Africa, Montess from Cameroon, Nata from Sierra Leone, Ruth Asong from Cameroon and Diana Hamilton from Ghana.

Manjeru is a true inspiration to us all and evidence that age is nothing but a number when it comes to your dreams, and flying your homelands flag higher.
