He is currently the Member of National Assembly, Rarieda Constituency. He is also a reputable advocate of the Kenyan High Court.
Other than being a politician and an advocate, Amollo has widely researched and presented on the areas of Constitutional Law, theory and practice, the African Human Rights System, the question of HIV/AIDS and the Law.
Currently, he holds the honor of Elder of the Burning Spear (EBS) of the Republic of Kenya.
In November 2020, Amollo flew to the US to observe the elections pitting Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden and former US President Donald Trump. He observed that the structure was peaceful, organised and spirited.
