Edith Kimani

Edith Kimani is a Kenyan media personality. She works at German’s Deutsche Welle (DW) as the East African correspondent she covers East African news as a  reporter for DW tackling matters of the environment.  She co-hosts the show with presenter Nneota Egbe.

She came to the limelight in 2009 after she emerged the winner of the Presenter Show competition on KTN. She was only 19 years old.

Edith doubled as an anchor and reporter and will be remembered for steering her own show, On The Record.

Ferdinand Omondi

Ferdinand Omondi is a Bilingual Reporter, Mombasa and Coast Region at BBC.

He describes himself as: "I love to tell stories. I thrive more out on the field than in front of a desktop computer. I am best when handling human interest features. I am proud to have carved a unique, captivating style of story-telling. I aim to impact my world for the better."

He was a Senior Coast Reporter for KTN from Dec 2012 to Nov 2014 covering and uncovering stories in 6 counties, thus; Mombasa, Kwale, Kilifi, Tana River, Taita Taveta, Lamu

Njoki Chege

Njoki Chege is a popular columnist known for her thought-provoking opinion piece.

She is currently behind the popular City Girl column that runs on the Daily Nation.

Her unapologetic opinions have been the subject of endless online debates.

Mumbi Warui

Mumbi Warui is a reporter at Citizen TV.

She previously worked for K24 as a business reporter and has done several high profile interviews including the President and DP William Ruto.

 

James Smart

James Smart is one of Kenya’s most prolific political commentators popular with wide audiences.  Having started The Trend at NTV in 2009, he then moved to KTN in 2013 to start three new shows: News Sources, KTN Live Wire and The Breakfast Show.

He currently hosts a political commentary show with WhatsGood Studios with Marvin Tumbo, a political strategist.

Olive Burrows

Olive works as a reporter at Capital FM.

She has worked as a contributer of True Love, Nation Media Group and Destination Magazine.

With a decade of storytelling under her belt, most notably interviewed US President Barack Obama, Melinda Gates, a UK Minister and severally had the opportunity to sit across from President Uhuru Kenyatta and address the pressing issues of the day.

Other notables she has had occasion to seek answers from are UN Secretary General António Guterres and John Kerry in his time as US Secretary of State.

Paul Nabiswa

Paul Nabiswa is a News Editor at KTN at STANDARD MEDIA GROUP.

He is also a Broadcast Journalist at BBC News.

Paul has previously worked as a reporter QFM and Easy FM at Nation Media Group, Reporter Citizen TV at Royal Media Services

He studied at Kenya Institute of Mass Communication and University of Nairobi.

Edmond Nyabola

Edmond Nyabola is a Senior Anchor/Reporter at NTV.

He has always professed his love for sports.

He has also worked as a Research Officer.

Edmond pursued his Undergraduate in Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of Nairobi.
