The Kenya Insitute of Curriculum Development (KICD) has unveiled 40 subjects which are proposed to be offered in Grade 10.

Grade 10 will be the first class in Senior Secondary School (SSS) which will have three grades. The first Grade 10 class will be in 2026.

As detailed in the curriculum design, 40 subjects will be offered to students in Grade 10 even as they will be required to pick seven.

Owing to the change from the 8-4-4 curriculum to the CBC curriculum, students will pick subjects based on the career path they intend to take in the future as they head to the university.
