Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) on Thursday announced that students who sat for their final secondary examinations in 2022 should pick their academic certificates.
This was for all Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates in public and private schools.
“Your certificates have arrived at the institution where you sat the exam and are ready for pickup,” KNEC announced while congratulating the former candidates.
2023 KCSE students will have to wait longer for their certificates to be dispatched.
KNEC further released original certificates for students who undertook various examinations offered by the Council.
Students who sat for Diploma in Teacher Education (DTE) exams in 2022 and 2023 were also told to pick their certificates.
Additionally, 2022 and 2023 candidates who sat for the Diploma in Special Needs Education (DSNE) were also told their certificates were available.
Other certificates available include for candidates who sat for Early Childhood Development (2022 and 2023) and Primary Teacher Examination (2023).
Upgrade Programme for the Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (UPDTE) 2022 and 2023 students can also pick their certificates from their examination centres.
Only Upgrade Programme for the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (UDECTE) 2022 students had their certificates dispatched.
KNEC issues a temporary result slip for students before the provision of original certificates.
