The Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS) on Wednesday reopened its portal for Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) students who failed to secure slots during the first application.
According to the placement service, the online application aims to fill vacancies in 21 KMTC courses that still have available slots for the ongoing March 2025 intake.
While calling for applications, KUCCPS announced that the online portal would remain open for one week, with the application window closing on March 4, 2025.
“KUCCPS has reopened the online application portal to fill vacancies in 21 KMTC courses for the March 2025 intake. The portal will remain open until March 4, 2025,” KUCCPS announced.
“All applicants who were not successful in the last application and others who would like to join KMTC in March 2025 are invited to apply."
In its announcement, the placement service directed students seeking to apply for the limited slots to log into the portal, select their preferred courses and submit for consideration.
How to Apply
Students seeking to apply for the courses were advised to visit KUCCPS application portal https://t.co/GnEwIU2gIf
Once learners access the portal, they will be prompted to enter their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) index number, KCSE year, and password.
Students have been advised to use their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) index number or birth certificate number as their password.
According to KUCCPS, the application portal includes one university, 230 public colleges, 141 KMTC institutions, and 30 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
Meanwhile, the latest announcement comes hardly a month after KUCCPS officially opened its portal for KMTC and TVET course applications.
In the announcement made on January 8, the placement service said the application targeted students seeking to undertake diploma and certificate courses.
