In contrast, the northeastern and coastal regions will face intense heat, with temperatures soaring above 35°C in areas such as Garissa, Mandera, and Lamu, with the prolonged heatwave expected to pose challenges to the residents.

Similarly, towns in the southeastern region, such as Kitui, Machakos, and Makueni, will experience temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C, with some parts exceeding 30°C.

Turkana County, including Lodwar, and parts of Samburu, will continue to experience extreme heat, with maximum temperatures exceeding 35°C. The region, which is already prone to dry conditions, is expected to remain hot throughout the forecast period.

Meanwhile, parts of the Central Highlands, including Nyeri, Meru, and Embu, will remain relatively cool, with temperatures ranging between 17°C and 25°C. Most of the regions in Central Kenya, however, are not expected to record higher rainfall amounts for the next six days.
