Reflecting on his six-year career, Shatta Bwoy further appreciated his fans for always supporting him through his media journey.

"Mlisema Shatta Rudi kwa Radio Daily na nimewasikiliza so stay tuned for the next Chapter. You will like it," he stated.

"Shatta Generals, 6 Years ago I switched on a Microphone and introduced you to The Shatta Bway and you Guys became Family instantly. You've been with me through thick and thin, the Highs and Lows of Life. Today I have made another decision," he added.

Apart from being a presenter at the media house, Mauda also served as the Director of Projects and Strategy at its betting arm, which the media organisation runs.

"Shatta Bway joins Cape Media Limited; he will be the Director of Projects and Strategy for Maybets as well as TV47 and Radio47  host," TV 47 said in a statement.

The announcement comes days after radio personality Sheila Kwamboka, popularly known as 'Kwambox', and her co-host Kerry Martin also announced their departure from Kiss100 through a statement on Tuesday, April 29.

While she did not reveal her next destination, Kwamboka strongly hinted she would explore other avenues, saying, "It's time for change."

On his part, Kerry looked back at his radio career, stating, "It’s been 11 years on radio. From my first show on Homeboyz Radio in 2014 to wrapping up Kenya’s biggest breakfast show on Kiss 100, this journey has been nothing short of a blessing," he shared.
