Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s son, Kevin Muasya Musyoka, has officially tied the knot with his longtime partner, Sharon Nthoki, in a highly exclusive wedding attended by some of Kenya’s top political figures.
The intimate ceremony, held at Enashipai in Nakuru County, was graced by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, and several other high-profile politicians.
“I’m delighted to join my brothers, Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Dr. Fred Matiang’i at the wedding of Kevin Muasya Musyoka and Sharon at Enashipai in Nakuru County. Wishing Kevin and his new spouse a lifetime of happiness and blessings,” an elated Gachagua wrote.
“Congratulations, Sharon Nthoki and Kevin Kalonzo! May this new chapter be a testament to God’s faithfulness,” Pastor Dorcus Rigathi, Gachagua's wife, who was also in attendance, wrote.
The garden wedding unfolded in a serene, flower-filled tent, where only a handful of cherished guests gathered.
The couple stood gracefully on a pristine white podium, surrounded by delicate flowers against a thick yet beautiful leafy green forest and waterfalls, and guests who were delighted to be part of their journey.
Although details of the wedding remain scanty, pictures seen by Kenyans.co.ke revealed an atmosphere that was elegant yet warm, capturing the essence of the union.
Kalonzo blessed their union and wished them a peaceful wedding life, ''Kevin and Sharon, as your officiant, Emmanuel Gichanga, reminded us today, A house is built with wisdom, and it is established with understanding. May these words from Proverbs 24:3 guide you as you begin this new chapter."
The white wedding comes a year after the couple held a traditional ceremony on May 10, 2024, which was graced by prominent guests, including former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
During the traditional wedding last year, Kalonzo described Sharon as his son's true "rib" and "God's appointed helper."
Muasya, a businessman and CEO of Athiani FM, a vernacular radio station, is among Kalonzo's four children. His siblings include Kennedy Musyoka, a lawyer; Damaris Musenya Musyoka, also a lawyer; and Kein Musyoka, a musician and producer who owns Heart Beats Studios.
The wedding comes barely a month after National Assembly speaker Moses Wetangula's daughter's wedding.
Tamara Wetang'ula got married to Antony Njoroge on April 29, in a wedding that saw President William Ruto attend.
