The Onyango and Tarus Company has announced the auctioning of 69 vehicles, some of which you can purchase for below Ksh 200,000.

According to a notice from the company, some of the vehicle brands below Ksh200,000 include a Toyota Wish, which is available for Ksh187,000 at the Pambo Yard, and a Toyota Sienta at Rigid Motors, priced at Ksh132,000.

According to the auctioneers, those interested should submit their offers by noon on Tuesday, June 24.

Vehicles below Ksh300,000 include a Honda Fit Aria Gdb, a Honda Fit, a Suzuki Alto, a Toyota Corolla Fielder, a Probox, a Suzuki Swift, a Toyota Axio, and a Toyota Town Ace.

Other vehicle brands that fall below the Ksh1 million price tag include the Mazda Demio, Nissan Note, Toyota Passo, Toyota Premio, Toyota Vanguard, Toyota Wish, Volkswagen Polo, and Toyota Voxy, among others.

Vehicles priced above Ksh1 million include the Isuzu ELF, Subaru Dex, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck, Toyota Vitz, Nissan Skyline, Toyota Noah, Volkswagen Tiguan, Toyota Land Cruiser, Mazda Axela, and Honda CR-V.

Interested individuals can view the vehicles at various yards, including Eezy Storage Yard in Ruiru, Leakey's Storage Yard in the Industrial Area, Valuers Storage Yard in Roasters, Roth Storage Yard in Machakos, Knicky Automax in Kitui, Pambo Yard in Kisumu, JBS Yard in Nanyuki, and Wachenya Yard in Kitale, among others.

The auction comes two days after the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) also announced the auction of hundreds of uncollected goods currently held at the Customs Warehouse at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi.

According to the taxman, through a gazette notice dated Friday, June 13, the online auction will run for five days between July 28 and August 1, 2025, through the KRA's official portal. 

Some of the items that will be auctioned by the tax man include personal effects such as shoes, clothing, printed materials, and electronics, and high-end cars such as Toyota Prado, Mercedes-Benz, Subaru Forester, Toyota Fielder, Toyota Harrie,r and Honda Vezel.

Interested buyers can view the goods between July 24 and July 25 at the KRA's official warehouse during official working hours. 

"Notice is given that unless the under-mentioned goods are entered and removed from the custody of the Customs Warehouse Keeper, Forodha JKIA, within thirty (30) days from the date of this notice, they will be treated as abandoned and will be disposed of in accordance with the provisions of EACCMA 2004," the notice read.
