The Social Health Authority (SHA) has shortlisted 38 candidates for interviews for four director positions that were advertised on July 29, 2025.
According to the notice by the authority on September 2, a total of 494 applications were received by the deadline of August 19, but only 38 applicants made it to the shortlist, while 456 were not successful.
The positions listed include Director, Provider and Beneficiary Management; Director, Benefits and Claims Management; Director, Corporate Services; and Director, Funds and Finance Management.
The authority claimed that the interviews will take place on September 9 and 10, 2025, at the Social Health Authority Headquarters, 10th Floor Boardroom in Nairobi.
For the post of Director, Provider and Beneficiary Management, 10 candidates were shortlisted, among them Hazel Jerrutai Koitaba, James Leiro Letangule, and Dr. Diana Marioni. Their interviews are scheduled for September 9.
It stated that nine candidates will be interviewed for the Director, Corporate Services post on September 10. They include Jackline Leitch, Mohamed Alio Ibrahim, and Phyllis Nyakiba.
For the Director, Benefits and Claims Management post, 10 candidates shortlisted are Solomon Omaria, Kandie Ng’ochot, and Tizrah Tracey John. Interviews will also take place on September 10.
The Director, Funds and Finance Management position attracted nine shortlisted candidates, such as Peter Mutui, Osma Hassan Ibrahim, and Caren Awour Oduor.
The authority has asked all shortlisted applicants to report at least 30 minutes before their interview scheduled time.
They are also asked to carry their original documents, such as National Identity Card, Academic and professional certificates, valid clearances from HELB, KRA, CRB, DCI, and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
Members of the public have also been invited to give any adverse information about the shortlisted candidates.
“Members of the public are invited to provide any adverse information relating to any of the shortlisted applicants,” said Dr. Abdi Mohamed, the Chairperson of the SHA Board.
