The government has announced 64 job openings across various positions within the Social Health Authority (SHA), as part of a broader plan to support the effective implementation of the Authority's mandate.
In a notice published on Tuesday, July 29, SHA announced that it was seeking 64 directors in various positions, including Beneficiary Management, Benefits and Claims Management and Information and Communication Technology.
Other vacant positions include directors in Finance and Accounts, Funds Management, Supply Chain Management, Claims Management, Benefits Management, and Registration and Compliance.
Similarly, SHA is seeking to recruit directors in Provider Management, Planning and Linkages, County Coordination, Human Resources, Customer Experience, and Internal Audit.
According to the Authority, an applicant must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya by submitting valid and current copies of a Certificate of Good Conduct.
An applicant must also provide copies of a Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority and a Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
Applicants were further required to submit copies of a Clearance Certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and a report from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
Interested candidates must also submit a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, and a cover letter demonstrating their suitability for the position.
"Applications can be submitted online at recruitment.sha.go.ke/ or physically delivered to the SHA Building, 10th Floor, by clearly marking the position applied for on the envelope," the Authority announced.
In its announcement, SHA stated that candidates who qualify for the jobs would receive a competitive remuneration per the Salaries and Remuneration Commission guidelines.
While calling on Kenyans to submit their applications, the Authority announced that the portal would remain open for the next three weeks, with the application window set to close on August 19, 2025.
