The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has granted licences to companies operating in the broadcasting, postal and telecommunications sectors.

In a gazette notice on September 5, the authority also invited the public to share their views on the new licences before they are approved.

The CA said it was seeking public comments and objections regarding several applications for broadcasting, postal and telecommunications licences.

If approved, the licences would enable various companies to provide services across the country.
