Six auctioneers have announced the auction of vehicles and household items that have been lying idle in six police stations in Nyeri, Kitui, Machakos, Kakamega, and Kilifi counties, as well as other storage yards.
In a gazette notice dated October 24, Windsor House Auctioneers stated that it will auction motorcycles, electric appliances, and other household items within 30 days at the Kiamariga Police Station in Karatina, Nyeri County.
The motorcycle brands include Shinery, Boxer, Tiger, Simba, Haojin, Dayun, Ranger, Tiger, and Captain. Other items include a gas cylinder, a 32-inch TV, a water pump, a hose power, a mattress, a bicycle, subwoofers, and a power saw.
The auctioneer said that it will also auction motorcycles that remain unclaimed within the Syokimau Police Station, Machakos County, within the next 30 days if they remain unclaimed. The motorcycle brands include TVS, Bajaj, and Boxer.
Motorcycles, a Nissan car, and a bicycle at the Mlolongo Police Station, in Machakos County, will be auctioned by Windsor if owners fail to claim them in the next 30 days. The motorcycle brands include Jinchen, Skygo, and Ranger.
The auctioneers have also announced that they will auction vehicles, over 15 motorcycles, two motor vehicle engines, assorted scrap metals, and a burnt vehicle shell, which are lying idle at the Mwingi Police Station, Kitui County.
The vehicle brands include Mazda Demi and Subaru Impreza, while the motor vehicle brands include TVS, Skygo, Dayn, Haujin, Honda, Safari, and Captain.
Ikimwanya Auctioneers said that it will auction vehicles that remain unclaimed at the Khayega Police Station, in Kakamega County, within 30 days if owners fail to take action.
Motorcycle brands that will be auctioned include TVS, Boxer, Honda, and Kingbird.
Within the next 60 days, Status Auctioneers will auction motorcycles and a Toyota Corolla that are lying idle at the Kaloleni Police Station in Kilifi County. The motorcycle brands include Boxer and Haojin.
On the other hand, the Fancy Friends Auctioneers said that they will, within 30 days, auction all motor vehicles that remain unclaimed at the Jamii Autocare.
The motor vehicle brands include Yutona, Rav4, Hilux, Nissan Skyline, Mercedes, Ford, and Suzuki.
Moryx Auto said that it will dispose of a Toyota Land Cruiser that has been lying at its trading yard within the next 30 days by either public auction, tender, or private treaty.
Lastly, the Garaa Investment Auctioneers said that they will sell household items such as sofa sets, TVs, carpets, TV cabinets, bathing sinks, spoilers, grills, and mudguards. Other items that will be disposed of by the company include assorted bottles of wine and spirits, sodas, chairs, and gas cylinders from bars.
The items, which are currently lying at the Auto Gallery Yard along Waiyaki Way, will be sold by either public auction, tender, or private treaty.
