Kenya Meteorological Department has warned that Nairobi and several other parts of the country will continue to experience rainfall over the next five days.
According to the latest report by the weatherman, rainfall is expected across many regions with isolated heavy showers likely in some areas from October 31 to November 4, 2025.
It stated that areas such as Nairobi, Nyeri, Murang’a, Kiambu, Meru and Embu counties will remain cloudy in the morning with rains over a few places followed by sunny intervals during the day.
During the evening, showers and thunderstorms will be experienced in some areas with a temperature range between 5°C and 31°C.
In the highland West of Rift Valley, Nakuru, Kericho, Kisumu, Kakamega and Bomet, weathermen predicted that morning rains will be expected with afternoon thunderstorms over several places.
The maximum temperatures in these areas are expected to be 31°C, while the minimum will be 8°C.
Cloudy mornings and sunny intervals with a chance of light showers are expected to hit a few places in Kitui, Machakos, Taita Taveta, Makueni and Kajiado counties.
These regions will experience a temperature range of a minimum of 13°C to a maximum of 32°C
It also predicted that Samburu and Turkana will experience isolated showers with sunny intervals towards the end of the forecast period, while Garissa, Marsabit, Wajir, Mandera and Isiolo will experience light rains in a few places, followed by mostly sunny conditions.
According to the weatherman, these areas will remain hot with a maximum temperature of 37°C.
Along the coastal region in Mombasa, Kwale, Lamu and Kilifi, morning showers will be expected in a few places with a sunny interval later in the day, with temperatures between 22°C and 33°C.
The department also cautioned that strong southerly to southerly winds exceeding 25 knots (12.5m/s) may occur in parts of Northwestern, Northeastern, and Coastal Kenya.
